About Us
Mission Statement
The Mesquite Veterans Center is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, to provide goods and services specifically intended to meet the religious, physical, social, educational, financial, civic, cultural, recreational, and psychological needs of veterans and their families thereby promoting their security, happiness, dignity, independence and usefulness.
The Vietnam Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans are all under our roof. The Virgin Valley Honor Guard is also here. Each organization does fund raising, identifies needs of veterans and others and gives aid where needed in the community.
The Mesquite Veterans Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. As such, in accordance with IRS regulations, the MVC does not endorse any political party or candidate for any political office.

The mission of the Mesquite Veterans Center is to support veterans and their families by providing access to services, fostering community connection, and honoring military service.

The Center exists to simplify access to services by housing multiple veteran-focused organizations and resources in one location. This approach helps veterans and families find assistance without navigating multiple offices or locations.

Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 35
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is an organization created by the United States Congress for disabled military veterans of the United States that helps them and their families through various means. The DAV currently has over 1 million members. At present we are looking for new and existing members in and around the Mesquite area to grow Chapter 35. The Veterans of Foreign Wars holds Post 7583 Meetings on the 3rd Saturday each month at 9:00 a.m. (0900 hrs.)
American Legion Post 24
The American Legion holds Post 24 Meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (1800 hrs.) ~
Vietnam Veterans Chapter 993
The Vietnam Veterans of America holds Chapter 993 Meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. (0900 hrs.)
Veterans Service Office
The Veterans Service Officer, Dianna Allred is accredited through the NV Department of Veterans Affairs and is available at the Center by appointment: Call 702-345-3361 (Referral Resources where needed)
Virgin Valley Honor Guard
The Virgin Valley Honor Guard Welcomes Men and Women Veterans to join them during the many ceremonies and occasions where they serve as “guardians of the colors,” honoring our Flag and Our Heroes.
